WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF DYSPORT ?
As with any cosmetic medical treatment, occasional side effects can occur. These can include headaches, pain, bruising, swelling, itchiness, a feeling of pins and needles or redness at the injection site. Hyperhidrosis (Excessive sweating)
Abnormally excessive sweating involving the extremities, underarms and face, usually unrelated to body temperature or exercise.
|Dysport Sweat Reduction Procedure Tiny amounts of Dysport are injected directly into the area affected by excessive sweating (i.e. forehead, underarms) with a very thin needle. Multiple injections may be given upon your doctor’s assessment of the treatment area. No local anesthetic is usually required, but those especially sensitive to pain can ask their doctor to numb the injection area beforehand. The results of the treatment will begin to appear after 3-6 days. Over the next 6-9 months following treatment, the treated area will be sweat-free.|
